Meet the Team

We’re working to build a professional and dedicated team at Arthur’s House who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our business but who are also dedicated to growing a strong community of nannies and clients alike.

  • Katie Hulbert-Powell

    FOUNDER

    Katie has over 18 years experience in HR, People and Talent acquisition having worked establishing culture and people operations as a Chief People Officer in growing businesses in the city.

    When her son was born she was introduced to the nanny agency landscape and was amazed at how little support agencies were giving people. Not just in finding good childcare but also the lack of any ongoing support for families and nannies. Entering into an employment relationship can be hard to navigate.

    Katie is determined to do things better by bringing her corporate experience to the childcare market.

  • Scarlett Emmanuel-Jones

    NANNY CONSULTANT

    Scarlett is a former experienced nanny whose hands-on work with families has given her invaluable insight into early childhood development. Alongside her nanny career, she studied child psychotherapy for four years, deepening her understanding of children's needs and family dynamics.

    Her experience in both private homes and school settings has shaped her approach as a Nanny Consultant, allowing her to provide tailored support to both families and nannies. Passionate about making the right connections, she is dedicated to ensuring successful, long-term placements. Scarlett is delighted to be part of the Arthur’s House team.

  • Ellie Knights

    BRAND AMBASSADOR

    Ellie is the first Brand Ambassador to join the team at Arthur’s House. Having qualified from Norland College in 2019, she has since been working as a Nanny, Maternity Nurse and Sleep Consultant. She has gained great experience working with a number of families over the years and is best placed to grow our network of brilliant nannies and clients as she’s out ‘in the field’ on a daily basis.

  • Ann-Kathrin

    GROWTH RESOURCER

    AnnI has been a nanny since moving to the UK in 2014 after completing her Bachelor’s degree in International Business at the Idaho State University as a foreign student. Ann-Kathrin has extensive experience working with various families. Her firsthand experience as a nanny has fueled her passion for connecting the right families with the right nannies. She recognises the significance of finding the perfect match, not only for the parents but most importantly, for the children, who remain the top priority.

    Anni is part of the in office team supporting the growth of our candidate community.

  • Kristy Fennell

    BRAND AMBASSADOR

    Kristy has worked in the childcare industry for over 17 years as a recruitment agency owner, nanny, sleep trainer, teacher and more recently a maternity nurse which she still does.

    She has acquired various qualifications in the childcare sector including a level 5 certificate in Early Childhood Education, a level 3 certificate in maternity nursing and some training in baby massage. She has worked for many high profile and high net worth families which fortunately has seen her travel extensively for work and allowed her to create a great network of clients and nannies in London and globally which makes her a great asset to Arthur’s House .

  • Giorgia Vinciguerra

    BRAND AMBASSADOR

    Giorgia is part of our Ambassador team.

    She has been a professional and engaging nanny for many years and has worked in hybrid roles involving PA duties. She has also worked in nurseries and crèche in different countries and is now expanding her experience by working as a governess/PA.

    Giorgia is an organised person who puts all of herself into what she does on a daily basis.

    She believes that having an open and honest communication between the parents/carers and the nanny is the main ingredient for a successful employment relationship. Working with Arthur’s House to connect families and nannies is something she feels passionate about.

  • Andreea Petre

    BRAND AMBASSADOR

    Andreea is a Montessori qualified teacher for the early years, with over 15 years of experience working as a professional nanny in Central London.

    She is passionate about child development and supporting independence through the home environment. She is also a gentle sleep consultant which gives her an holistic approach to childcare and to understanding children’s needs.

    Andreea is pleased to become part of the team at Arthur’s House and loves connecting with parents and high quality nannies alike.

What we stand for

Transparency

Hiring a nanny into your home is a two way street and should be the start of an amazing relationship for parents, nannies and children alike.

We think that current services do half a job. Often, families are unsure about the basics of what is required when employing someone and nannies are often left in the dark until they turn up on day one.

We want to challenge the status quo by using years of experience built up in corporate environments to professionalise the nanny recruitment industry.

Trust

We feel that there is a gap at present where nannies and families are not fully vetted before being matched.

We want to focus on the small things that make a massive difference to the day to day working environment for both parties.

Families should be fully assured that any nanny working through Arthur’s House is legally compliant and has impeccable references.

Nannies should be able to trust that jobs they get from us are with the right people, with the basic rights they require and provide them with the right working environment.

Support

Employing people can be complicated. Legalities are ever changing and things can go wrong.

We see a massive gap in the ongoing support that most agencies are currently providing to their clients.

We want families and nannies to have a place to turn to when they have questions and concerns. We will act as a virtual HR department for you through the duration of your placement.

Our agency is based in Parson’s Green, SW6.

We service clients inside and outside of the city and across the UK in countryside settings.

We also work with clients in the Middle East, US and Europe.
